Regina Bechtler Ward, Esq.Your Shield and SwordRegina Bechtler Ward – Attorney Attorney Ward earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School located in the capitol city of Lansing, Michigan (2005). She graduated with academic honors, cum laude. What makes her academic distinction much more impressive is that she completed three years of law school courses in about 18 months. While in law school, despite her grueling double-time schedule, Attorney Ward found time to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, be an active member of the Women’s Law Alliance, and serve as interim Vice-President of the Student Bar Association. She competed in the Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions and was the winner of the Best Written Brief Award. She is a member of the ABA Practice Sections on: Trial Litigation, Family Law, and Solo Practice. She is also licensed to practice law in The United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. She is a Certified Family Court Mediator and has a Mediation Practice helping people resolve their family court matters without costly litigation. She is also a Certified Guardian ad litem, where she serves to protect the interests of minor children and speak on their behalf in Family Court.
